Region Configuration #
Cloud7 is equipped with integrated multi-region management capabilities, enabling centralized administration of geographically distributed cloud platforms. Within Cloud7, cloud providers can be assigned to different regions, allowing end-customers to switch between these regions via the top-right header drop-down menu to provision resources in the desired location.
You may add one or multiple cloud providers to a single region. The “Providers” menu will display the associated providers and available features once a region is selected by resellers or customers.

Provider Configuration #
Monitoring Configuration #
Cloud7 integrates seamlessly with Elasticsearch and Kibana to gather and visualize event data and monitoring information. This integration enables comprehensive tracking and analysis of various activities and resource usage within the Cloud7 environment.

OpenStack Data Sync #
When OpenStack is used as a provider, Cloud7 ensures continuous synchronization between OpenStack and Cloud7 using Elasticsearch. This is achieved by capturing event data from Ceilometer, OpenStack’s telemetry service, which collects metrics and event data.
Cloud7 utilizes Elasticsearch to aggregate and index this data, allowing it to monitor and track resources created directly within OpenStack, even if they were not provisioned through Cloud7. This ensures that Cloud7 remains up-to-date with all resources and events, providing a unified and consistent view of the infrastructure.
By leveraging the power of Elasticsearch and Kibana, Cloud7 enhances its monitoring capabilities, ensuring that all events and resources are accurately reflected within the platform. This integration not only improves data accuracy but also provides Cloud Admins with powerful tools for data visualization and analysis.
