- Resource Consumption Metrics: The General Reports provide you with the details on the volume and types of resources consumed by each customer and reseller organization. It helps in identifying trends and patterns in resource usage, enabling better resource allocation and optimization.

- To view General Reports section, log in as Cloud-Admin (or a staff member with the necessary privileges) and navigate through the menu path: Billing & Reports >> Reporting >> General Reports.

- On sub report page, you can switch between the tabs given for PAYG, Reserved or Bundled resources.

- To view Contract Reports section, log in as Cloud-Admin (or a staff member with the necessary privileges) and navigate through the menu path: Billing & Reports >> Reporting >> Contract Reports.
- To generate a report, you will be required to specify the details in the report filter.
- In “Role” drop-down list, select “Customer” or “Reseller” as the report generated are different for both of these organization categories.
- In “Organization” list, select and specify the customer or reseller for whom the report needs to be generated.
- As a single organization, whether customer or reseller, can have multiple Resource Subscriptions, therefore in “Contract Name” drop-down list, specify the subscription for which the report needs to be generated.
- In the “Usage From” and “Usage To” fields, enter the date range for the desired reporting period.
- Now click on “Search” button to generate the report.
- Depending on the allocated subscription models, switch between PAYG, Reserved and Bundle Resources tabs to see the associated resources with their statistics and billing details.
- Use the “Export” button in the header to export and download the report in a CSV format.
Capacity Reports #
The Capacity Report in Cloud7 offers a comprehensive view of the resource subscriptions for customers and resellers, focusing on utilization and allocation without delving into financial details. It helps you (Cloud-Admin) monitor and manage the capacity and resource usage efficiently.

- Resource Utilization: It provides detailed insights into how resources are being used by customers and resellers. This includes metrics on CPU, memory, storage, and other resources, helping you understand usage patterns and plan for future capacity needs.
- Subscription Expiry: The report lists the expiry dates of all active resource subscriptions. This allows you to proactively manage renewals and ensure uninterrupted service for customers.
- Allocation Status: It shows the current allocation of resources to various customers and resellers. This helps in identifying underutilized or over-allocated resources, enabling better resource distribution.
- Forecasting and Planning: By analyzing the trends in resource usage and subscription renewals, you can forecast future resource demands and plan accordingly. This ensures that the infrastructure can scale effectively with the growing needs of the business.
By leveraging the Capacity Report, you can maintain an optimal balance between resource supply and demand, ensuring efficient use of the infrastructure while avoiding over-provisioning or under-utilization of resources.

- To view Capacity Reports section, log in as Cloud-Admin (or a staff member with the necessary privileges) and navigate through the menu path: Billing & Reports >> Reporting >> Capacity Reports.
- You can specify the provider in the “Select Provider” list to generate report on its resource allocation and utilization.
- For further consumption details on CPU and memory allocation as well as consumption, click on the “Resource Subscription” attribute of an organization (hyperlinked).
- This report provides a detailed analysis of each Resource Subscription individually. Consequently, a single customer or reseller organization may have multiple entries in the report if they possess multiple subscriptions, with each entry representing a distinct subscription.
- Use the “Export” button in the header to export and download the report in a CSV format.
