The General Reports section offers foundational insights into the overall operations, resource allocation and consumption within Cloud7. These reports are essential for understanding the broader aspects of platform usage and include a variety of key metrics:
- Resource Consumption Metrics: The General Reports provide you with the details on the volume and types of resources consumed your organization. It helps in identifying trends and patterns in resource usage, enabling better resource allocation and optimization.
- Subscription Details and Statuses: It also provides you with an overview of all active and inactive subscriptions, including their start and end dates, status, and associated resource allocations. It ensures that you have a clear picture of the current subscription landscape.
- Subscription Models in Use: Some of the reports under General Reports section highlights the different subscription models (Pay-As-You-Go, Reservation, Bundle) being utilized across the platform. Understanding which models are most popular can inform future product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Provider Allocation: This segment breaks down the resources allocated to various service providers, offering insights into how resources are distributed and which providers are most utilized. - To view General Reports section, log in with your account credentials (or a staff member with the necessary privileges) and navigate through the menu path: Billing & Reports >> Reporting >> General Reports.
- Select “View” against any of the sub reports provided here.
- On sub report page, you can switch between the tabs given for PAYG, Reserved or Bundled resources.
- Use the “Export” button in the header to export and download the report in a CSV format.

- To view Contract Reports section, log in with your account credentials (or a staff member with the necessary privileges) and navigate through the menu path: Billing & Reports >> Reporting >> Contract Reports.
- To generate a report, you will be required to specify the details in the report filter.
- As a single organization, you can have multiple Resource Subscriptions, therefore in “Contract Name” drop-down list, specify the subscription for which the report needs to be generated.
- In the “Usage From” and “Usage To” fields, enter the date range for the desired reporting period.
- Now click on “Search” button to generate the report.
- Depending on the allocated subscription models, switch between PAYG, Reserved and Bundle Resources tabs to see the associated resources with their statistics and billing details.
- Use the “Export” button in the header to export and download the report in a CSV format.
